Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of KOIKOI JAPAN TOUR ("the Service"), operated by KOIKOI Inc. ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

■ 1. Scope

These terms apply to all dealings between you and us regarding the Service. Notes shown on individual tour pages form part of these terms.

■ 2. When a booking is confirmed

A booking is confirmed when you submit the booking form and then complete the card payment. We send a confirmation email once your booking is confirmed. If the payment is not completed, no booking is made. We may be unable to accept a booking, for example when a tour is fully booked.

■ 3. Prices and payment

Prices are those shown on each tour page, including consumption tax. Payment is by credit card and is processed by Stripe. We never hold your card number. All payments are charged in Japanese yen. Amounts shown in other currencies are estimates, and the final amount depends on your card issuer's exchange rate.

■ 4. Cancellation

Cancellations are governed by our Cancellation Policy. Once paid, bookings cancelled by you are not refundable.

■ 4-2. Shows and experiences run by venues

Some shows and experiences are provided by the venue's operator rather than by us. Please follow the venue's rules, such as age limits, ID checks, photography and food and drink rules. If the venue refuses entry or participation under its rules, no refund will be given. The content and running order of a show may change at the venue's discretion.

■ 5. Your responsibilities

When joining a tour, please:

・arrive at the meeting point by the meeting time ・follow your guide's safety instructions ・respect the rules and etiquette of the places you visit ・tell us in advance about any medical condition, pregnancy, injury or allergy 　that may affect your participation

■ 6. Prohibited conduct

The following are not permitted:

・anything unlawful or contrary to public order ・behaviour that troubles other guests, guides or the places you visit ・booking using false information ・interfering with the operation of the Service ・commercial use of tour content without our permission

If we consider that any of the above applies, we may refuse participation, in which case no refund will be given.

■ 7. Changes to a tour

We may change the order of a tour or the places visited because of weather, traffic or the circumstances of a venue. Changes made for safety reasons are not grounds for a refund. If a tour is cancelled entirely, our Cancellation Policy applies.

■ 8. Limitation of liability

We take care over the safety of our tours, but we are not liable for:

・accidents, injury or illness caused by your own actions ・loss, theft or damage to your belongings ・loss caused by natural disasters, suspension of transport, epidemics 　or other causes beyond our control

Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the tour.

■ 9. Travel insurance

Travel insurance is not included in the tour price. We recommend arranging your own cover.

■ 10. Photographs and video

We may use photographs or video taken during a tour for our own publicity. If you prefer not to appear, please tell your guide during the tour.

■ 11. Personal information

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

■ 12. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The revised terms apply from the time they are published on the Service.

■ 13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
